The way to get Mcard and scheduling access to any Tech Suite space is by completing a respective training module.
Trainings carry over between fall and spring semester, if you qualify for access in both semesters.
Training must be retaken every year since we make major changes to the Tech Suite every summer.

About the Certifications
Intro to the Tech Suite
OnlineAvailable to all studentsAll students who wish to access the Tech Suite must complete basic orientation. The "Intro to the Tech Suite" module will teach you everything you need to know about the Tech Suite in-general.
MTL and Edit Room Orientation
Requires Intro to the Tech Suite | OnlineGrants access to the MTL and Edit Rooms
Students who wish to utilize the Edit Rooms and Music Technology Lab will need to take an additional module to gain Mcard and scheduling access. Along with all majors, any student enrolled in a PAT class that meets in the MTL can get access to these spaces.
Equipment Checkout Orientation
Requires Intro to the Tech Suite | OnlineGrants access to the Tech Suite equipment checkout inventory
Students who desire to check out Tech Suite equipment for academic purposes can complete the Checkout Orientation module. More information about the checkout system and who is allowed to use it here.
Machine Room Orientation
Requires Intro to the Tech Suite | OnlinePrerequisite for the Davis Studio and Control Room certifications. Will not grant access on its own.
